The Retreat is a pub located in Sydney Road, Brunswick (less than 10 minute walk from my house) & a pleasant place to hang out with friends. They have live music and a beer garden.
I ordered something from the specials board for dinner this evening – ‘Mexican Lamb Curry with Rice and Roti’. As I am writing this post, I just realised I did not get the roti so that is a tad disappointing! The dish tasted good though, a little bit on the spicy side, and the meat was tender.
Would definitely recommend this as somewhere to go to catch up with friends and have a drink or meal.
